This role will involve liaising closely with the Construction Team to review Sub-Contractors and Suppliers Tender packages. You will also be required to engage and negotiate with new Sub-Contractors in order to maintain competitive pricing. Weekly Cost reports, Programme Updates, Procurement Schedules, Sub-Contractors compliance and Processing Payments are also a major part of this role.

To be considered for this role you will be required to have;

  • Either a Trade or Degree qualification.
  • Around 1- 2 years experience in a Contract Administration role ideally working on Insurance or Maintenance works within the Residential sector.
  • Excellent skills within Cost Analysis, Budgeting, Reporting and Negotiating with suppliers.
  • A working knowledge of Estimating and Programming software such as Buildsoft, MS Project or similar programmes.

Preparation of Evaluation of Tender / Contract documents and Bill of Quantities

2) Quantification of Variations as per drawings / specification and follow-up with Project/ Senior Managers for Site Work Instruction. (SWI )

3) Scheduling & Monitoring the Progress of the works, delays & disruption of the Project and Preparation of Claims for delays & Time Extension and associated costs.

·       Develop, review & maintain all engineering standards and specifications relating to Structural Hull for the project.

·       At least 10 years Structural design engineering experience in oil & gas industry.  Those with experience in Oil rig, FPSO, topside design with offshore platforms and or SPAR topside facility preferred.

·       Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Marine Engineering.

·       Knowledge of intermediate MS Office as well as PDMS.

·       Experience in Oil Rigs, Semi-Submersible, FPSO, EPC and LQ projects.
