This is an opportunity to work for a well-established UAE contractor. They focus all their attention on the Abu Dhabi market and have become experts in this area and have strong relationships that have been built up over the years with all the main clients. The majority of their work is infrastructure works such as roads, highways, utilities and airport infrastructure.

Although, like most contractors in the UAE the last few years have been tough but new contracts are starting to be awarded again which has created a need for a Plant Operations Manager. I am not looking for candidates who are already working in the Middle East so this is a chance for someone who wants to relocate here.

You should be currently handling countrywide / large scale operations of a large plant hire company in Europe, Australia or South Africa. You should be an expert in optimizing multi-level rental operations and conversant with the latest techniques in the field. A total of 15 years’ experience with relevant qualifications would be required.

Job description 
Adhere to a schedule, compile and finalize projects, and meet designated deadlines.
Must be familiar with construction plan reading / Attention to detail.
Identifying and selecting highly qualified subcontractors; requesting and reviewing required submittals; addressing and responding to RFI's; reviewing and communicating plan changes; and obtaining additional estimates and pricing.
Managing several bidding projects simultaneously and effectively.
