2. Min. 2-3 years relevant experience in Facilities Maintenance - multiple trade lines MEP(UAE Experience Mandatory).
3. Clean & Valid Light Vehicle License is a must and good knowledge of Dubai roads.
4. Ability to independently lead and work alongside team of 3-4 technicians - this is a hand-on job!
5. Some knowledge of suppliers for consumables and spares and ability to negotiate for best pricing.
6. Language Skills - Basic English Required for customer interactions
7. Knowledge of S. Asian languages highly preferable (Hindi / Urdu / Malayalam)
8. Immediate Joiner - 2 weeks or less as this is an urgent requirement

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Supervise contractors work to ensure design specifications are met on transportation projects
Liaise with project managers
Arrange for materials testing
Create deficiency reports
Participate in the issuing of Construction Completion Certificates and Final Acceptance Certificates
Working with Project Managers, CAD and Field staff to prepare subdivision and right of way plans required for large-scale residential development
Mentoring junior staff in respect to proper survey methodologies and techniques
Quality control of survey plans and field work
In conjunction with the leadership team, recommending and implementing procedures to improve productivity and quality
Project Management duties and Client interaction as required

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess registration as a Land Surveyor
Civil Engineering Technology diploma from an accredited post secondary institution
5 years experience with either an engineering consultancy or general contractor in a field supervision role of transportation and infrastructure projects
Candidates must be familiar with all levels of surveying and Geomatics procedures, project management, and client relations.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings
