The position currently available is unique to this organisation as it involves a range of duties that in other companies might be held by a number of people. This role is 100% focussed on the supplier base that is both a mixture of domestic and international suppliers, your role is to refine and manage your portfolio, reduce costs, identify new suppliers and come to commercial agreements with them. There will be a lot of negotiations with external parties and you will become very familiar with contract administration. This role will suit dynamic individuals who want have a passion for commercial environments.

Logistics Officer Dubai
Liaise with third party logistics providers and equipment operators for loading, offloading
Responsible for the entire logistics process inbound and outbound
Responsible for inspection of goods and documentation.
Close coordination and working relationship with warehouse, operations and suppliers.
Rectify problems such as damages, shortages and non-conformance to specifications
Prepares inspects and files a variety of shipping and logistics related documentation such as packing lists, bills of lading, work orders and shipping orders, shipping and receiving logs and reports.
Dispatches freight for delivery and arrange for pickups
Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue shipping instructions and delivery of materials.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written English
At least 3-year experience in Food Distribution, Wholesale and Trading background and/or work experience in Logistics coordination
Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access

Our client manufactures niche industrial engineering equipment for the mining industry. They have an immediate requirement for an Inventory Manager to work on a number of new innovative projects.
They need an Inventory specialist that can:
Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders
Help Manage and work closely with Logistics and Supply Chain departments
Work closely with Planning and Customer Service departments
Liaise with Purchasing and Production staff to agree production priorities
Work with other Managers to improve logistics and supply chain plans in turn improving their manufacturing process
Manage stock levels across a number of sites
Deal daily with customer support teams and local service centres
Improve product life cycle
Work on ERP and SAP systems
Specific qualifications & experience for this position:
Engineering qualification is preferred

Strong background within Inventory Management
